Computer Applications in HRIS
HRIS has many applications. In HRD, HRIS modules are used to register employees for courses, to track who has been trained in what areas, to monitor training costs and to scheduked trainers and classrooms. Additional uses of computers include actual delivery of d management training content ( wirh the use if interactive – videodisc training, computerizes simulation gamed, etc) Computers are also playing a role in executive development programs. Extensive computer – administered self – assessment questionnaires relating to management style and executive skills are being used to assist managers in diagnosing their own developmental needs.
