Replacement Charts

Replacement Charts are visual representation of who will replace whom in the event of job opeining. In other words, replacements charts are developed to show the names of the current occupants of positions in the organization and the names of likely replacement. Replacement charts make potential vacancies readily apparent and indicates what types of positions most urgently need to be filled. Present performance levels of employees can be used to estimate potential vacancies. On the replacement chart, the incumbents are listed directly under the job title. These individuals likely to fill the potential vacancies are listed directly under the incumbents.
